Lesson 61 forms the conclusion of the Sanskrit course and contains no further written exercises.

With the study of root nouns, the periphrastic future, and denominal verbs, the foundations for reading Sanskrit original texts are laid. The course concludes with the traditional invocation to Gaṇeśa (श्रीगणनाथ), which marks the transition from textbook to independent reading.
