Lesson 61 forms the conclusion of the Sanskrit course and contains no further written exercises.

With the study of root nouns, the periphrastic future tense, and denominative verbs, the foundations for reading Sanskrit original texts have been laid. The course concludes with the traditional invocation to Gaṇeśa (श्रीगणनाथ), which marks the transition from textbook study to independent reading.
