Best of the twice-born! Whoever gives a Brahmin the earth together with its crops enjoys the world of Viṣṇu as long as fourteen Indras. Twice-born! The merit that someone obtains who gives away the whole world with its seven continents, that does a mortal obtain who gives a Brahmin a cow. Whoever gives gold to a Brahmin as small as a sesame seed, he comes together with 10 million families into the dwelling city of Hari (Viṣṇu). Best of the twice-born! A man who gives a girl together with jewelry (to a Brahmin), he comes to the seat of Brahmā and has no more rebirth. Best of the twice-born! Whoever has given food and water on the surface of the earth, he has given all gifts, bull among the twice-born!
