Best of the twice-born! Whoever gives land together with its crops to a Brāhmaṇa enjoys the world of Viṣṇu as long as fourteen Indras. Twice-born! The merit that someone obtains who gives away the whole world with its seven continents, that does a mortal obtain who gives a cow to a Brāhmaṇa. Whoever gives gold as small as a sesame seed to a Brāhmaṇa, he comes to the city of residence of Hari (Viṣṇu) together with 10 million families. Best of the twice-born! A man who gives a girl together with jewelry (to a Brāhmaṇa), he comes to the seat of Brahmās and has no more rebirth. Best of the twice-born! Whoever has given food and water on the surface of the earth, he has given all gifts, Bull among the twice-born!
